- Body language as dance. Striking, good seeing.
- Nice use of silhouette. The repetitive image of the hands against the windows catches the eyes.

Youngsters being coaxed to cooperate just at the start of the ceremony. He’s unhappy and the adult is seen from the waist up leaning in with the long aisle in the background. Storytelling, uncomfortable and humorous all in one.

- Liked the different perspective and bright bold colors.
- It's a great portrait that speaks to city and quick exits and young love. Different and deserving of the category.
2003 WPJA - Ceremony Category 2nd place - Judge's Comments:
- No explanation needed here. You can tell what they are thinking and there is good lighting to boot.
- A sweet moment of eye contact and silence.
