If you're looking for a photogenic location in downtown Rochester New York, think about the Point de Rennes foot bridge overlooking the high falls gorge. The footbridge and adjoining small park and sidewalks are an enviting location for you and your bridal party to have a relaxing and picturesque time for taking 'formal' pictures. The view from the bridge gives you the Rochester skyline looking south up the Genesee river with the Federal Building, Hyatte, Chase and Xerox buildings just beyond the falls. It can be a little windy as it crosses a rather deep gorge so if its a windy day to start with you might want to consider somewhere else, as well as if its too brightly sunny and certainly rainy.
